Williamsburg Village Annual July 4th Parade!
The Parade is back!
We are excited to host the annual WVCA 4th of July parade this year! The parade will start from the corner of Queen Mary and King William at 10 am. Please arrive early to get your child signed in and a number for the judges. As always, we encourage decorating of bikes, scooters, wagons, people, and pets! The parade ends at Olney Elementary School, where refreshments will be served!
Please no motorized vehicles (other than the parade leads).
STEP 1: Sign Up
Please let us know you or your family would like to participate by using our registration form:
STEP 2: Get creative, get crazy, and get patriotic.
Come out to the corner of King William and Queen Mary between 9:30-9:45 am on July 4 and check in to get your number. The judges will be along the parade route, so display that number! They will judge your entry and then tally up the scores to announce 2-3 winners in these categories:
- Bike/Scooter/Wagon
- Pets
- Patriotic Dress
STEP 3: Donate Food
WVCA will also collect food donations for
Olney Help (OlneyHelp.org).Olney Help has been providing food and financial assistance to local families since 1969. Please consider helping by looking in your pantry or putting a few extra items in your shopping cart the next time you’re at the store. Bring them with you to the parade check-in tent.
Volunteers Needed
What makes this neighborhood great is great neighbors. Consider helping us bring back this wonderful tradition by volunteering. We need help in the following areas:
- Parade Judges
- Check-in Area/Set Up
- Olney Elementary/Clean Up.
- Sign Painting. Can you or your child paint? We need new parade signs made.
The WVCA will supply the canvas if you provide the talent.

Meetings are held quarterly - at 7:00 PM in the Cafeteria/All-Purpose Room of Olney Elementary School.
Easter Egg Hunt
Rain or Shine!
The hunt begins PROMPTLY at 11:00 AM.
To participate, please provide one dozen, treat-filled, plastic Easter eggs for each child who will be participating.
