Williamsburg Village Civic Association is a voluntary neighborhood association focused on the Williamsburg Village Community in Olney, Maryland. Attendance to the meetings is welcome to any member of Williamsburg Village. The Association addresses issues of concern to the community and sponsors community events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th parade, and Christmas visits from Santa. To Participate:

A link to a sign up page will be provided on this page a few days before Santa is scheduled to arrive. Please check the unofficial Williamsburg Village Facebook Page for more information around mid December. Hours determined by availability of volunteers and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis

Santa will arrive during the one hour window that you sign up for, and he will visit with your kids, give them a candy cane, take pictures with them, and give them a toy if you provide one for him by leaving it on the front steps.

The visits last approximately 5-15 minutes, and are provided on a volunteer basis, so the available slots are first-come, first-served, based on our volunteers' schedules. There is no fee for the visit (although we do request that you have provided your yearly donation).

The visits are available to any resident of Williamsburg Village. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to visit houses outside of Williamsburg Village. If you are not a resident of Williamsburg Village and you sign up, your visit will be cancelled. If you are unsure if you are a resident of Williamsburg Village, please email officers@williamsburgvillage.org with your address and find out.

Please do not contact the Santa volunteers directly to request a visit. In the past, this has led to confusion for the volunteers and made coordinating visits very difficult. Because of this, volunteers' names will no longer be listed next to sign up slots. If you have a special request which cannot be accommodated through the signup page, please contact the coordinator directly who will make all reasonable attempts to fulfill your request. You may make a request for a specific Santa, but that cannot be guaranteed.
